Dude & Dudette ® is a clothing brand that was born in Florence in 2008. The name is inspired by the word "dude" in American slang that means "friend, same age", however a person who shares your style and your interests. By "dude" to the neologism "dudette" is a short step, and identifies the world of our "dude" in the feminine. Dude & Dudette are Gianluca & Mary, an advertising creative and a designer who decided to create a line of clothing that could be easily inserted in their wardrobe. Indeed. Dude & Dudette ® is what two boys of 20/30 years would have in their wardrobe. Dude is a nerd, a bit 'dandy. Difficult to translate it in Italian, but our guys made up their minds. They wear sweatshirts, t-shirts and comfortable garments that mix with the elegance reminiscent of adult jackets and shirts tailored lightened by washes that give them a worn appearance. It is not the classic style of the garments college: they are rather the leaders that the students at Oxford trying to Carnaby Street or the students Yale seeking markets in the port of Boston. The entire collection has its roots in the 80's: clean lines, almost minimal, enlightened by "houndstooth and Prince of Wales typical of that period. T-shirts appear on the vintage icons of ice cream and candies of the past century and the payoff of the old advertising of brands of chocolate. The volumes are fit and slim-fit. The nerd who wears tight-fitting garments look dandy: he wants to look elegant without giving the impression that he stole the jacket to his dad. The collection is a total look entirely made in Italy, where sweatshirts, sweaters, polo shirts and t-shirts have the lion's share. The attention to details and finishes is the real strength, but while the disengaged leaders maintain an appearance and lived through serial washes, prints and vintage edge. The colors are Union Jack and Stars & Bars, the American flag and English: blue, white and red declined in all their hues from blue to pink. The main fabric of the Spring Summer 09 collection is cotton in all its variations: simple and bonded jersey, twill, gabardine and piquet. Dude & Dudette ® finally smile: they have found their style with the same enthusiasm with which children were in the candy shop to buy sweets and chocolate.

WINDS OF HOPE

Here I am again dear friends, I'm back after a brief absence, an absence fully justified by an event in fact, that from happening now I'm here to tell you (a poet:-p).
Dall'ulmima time I wrote something in this blog many things have changed, the political climate that now makes us more and more, day after day, the long-awaited dream vacation.
In this period I have been very busy, a great event gave me the opportunity to distract me a bit ', unplug it, and devote myself body and soul (especially the body) to me that for years is the passion: Scouting .
Indeed, the 2007/08 biennium is the twentieth anniversary of the foundation of my scout group, the legendary avellino 4!
Cosi ', taken by the enthusiasm and desire to celebrate this milestone we have organized four days of celebration that will be presented songs, exhibitions, panel discussions, but especially a film, THE MOVIE OF OUR TWENTY YEARS!
Without going into too much leave you the promo of this film waiting for comments and suggestions of course .... and of course you're all invited to the screening!
